How and How Not to Call a Floorman

In some poker rooms, calling for a floorman is no more disruptive than calling for a waitress. The management wants the floor to be called to the table, as many times as needed, even to mend minor procedural mishaps. In other rooms, calling a floorman is like calling a fireman. It's always loud and dramatic. In those rooms, you should have a very good reason for summoning the fire truck.
